WHO WE ARE
We're a couple of fanatics whose passion for cars started when we were just tykes. As cousins who grew up minutes from each other on the outskirts of Chicago, we began following Matt's dad to various race tracks and autocross sites throughout the Midwest in the '80s and '90s.

There's just something about watching someone work a car on the track that's thrilling. But watching was only the gateway, the real thrill came when we were lucky enough to snag a ride. We were barely tall enough to see over the dashboard, but the lateral g's could be felt at any height.
​
And so our love of motorsport grew, first through go-karting and then auto-crossing (as soon as we were legal), followed by high performance driving schools and later racing wheel-to-wheel.
​
When springtime comes and the event calendars are finalized, plans are made, cars are prepped and the excitement is palpable.

There are the sponsored freebies you get from your local car club for attending an HPDE. And there may even be some sad attempts for sale at your local dealer ‘gift’ shop.
